LZR Racer

After three years of research, input from Nasa, body scans of more than four hundred swimmers, testing of more than 100 different fabrics and suit designs, speedo has created the LZR racer. Introduced in February it has helped break 38 world records. One of the development and testing was on the surface drag of more than 60 types of fabric using space-age technology research and testing by Nasa, which has some of the most accurate wind tunnels in the world.

Blogging now

I thought to myself that maybe there is a good chance to get some payment for blogging and now it is really possible. I realize that the idea of blogging and writing opinions for people is quite interesting sometimes and it is a rather effective way for advertisers to get across their websites or products to people. First of all blogs are sometimes really interesting to read them up and it will catch the attention of readers. Readers will come back more often to check out more on the interesting posts and sometimes they can also check out on the reviews of some websites which are the posts written for the advertisers. These reviews can be quite fun to do and to read them up in a way it is also a channel to share with the readers about the presence of some other good websites or products around. The platform used for bloggers and advertisers is in a way user friendly for bloggers offers available to them are usually coloured and different colours will let bloggers know whether they are able to take those offers. For advertisers, their offers are shown to all bloggers at the market place and they also can have a choice to advertise on blogs they specifically choose by using the ppp direct tool. For bloggers, get paid to blog and start earning some money from what you like to do.

Weightlifting

This is the other shoe for the sport weightlifting which had not have any innovations all these years till recently. Do you think actually weightlifting has nothing to with being well-heeled? The new shoe known as Romaleos which means strength will tells you it has anything to do with it.

Contoured thermplastic polyurethane heel wedge cups heel and supports foot for lifting stability - replacing the wooden heel wedge that has been used since the 1960s. Different heel heights for varying athlete sizes and weights.

With such technology in shoes and the sportswear of athletes, it is exciting to see whether "strength" will gives the strength to the weightlifters to break record.

Badminton

This is the shoe catered just for badminton. With the special made sole for the badminton court surface, it provides not only good friction but enhances speed of the athlete.

I think it also uses a little of what is called the pump air technology something which is similar to the technology used in basketball shoes.

The pump air technology allows the athletes to jump higher.

The gladiator suit

Besides footwear that incorporated such amazing technologies, the top and bottoms fabric will created and design with such technology as well. The red suit for China's women track and field which you will see soon at the Olympics. Their suit is like a gladiator suit that enables them to run faster "cutting" through air which is what they are supposed to do. These runners even have gloves that covers arms not only hands and socks that covered their legs up to their knees. What this fabric do exactly is that they helps tighten the muscles of these athletes while they are running and it supposedly will enhance their performance.

Another technology discovered

There is another technology used recently which is known as the flywire. This keeps the upper part of the shoe light, while still offering support through its high-strength threads that work like cables on a suspension bridge. These technologies as has been mentioned made me feel that athletes are like super-humans when they uses them since it can give them such powers if they really can make a great difference. Anyway, the innovation of flywire has allowed the creation of first sub-100g track spike - the zoom victory spike.

Wushu

Oh this is another cool shoe which is for Wushu practitioners. If you see clearly, there is a Chinese character at the bottom side of the shoe. That word is actually "wu" which also stands for martial arts. The shoe is called shaoliquan. More interestingly, there are Chinese letters inscribed that read: " Hero inside. Release it."

The technology used

The technology used in the sportswear if you are curious is actually known as the Lunarlite foam technology. As the name has suggested, it is a technology developed in conjunction with Nasa engineers. The advantages this technology offers are lightweight, cushioning, stability and responsiveness. The foam used in Nasa's space shuttle seats, is 30 percent lighter than normal foams yet spreads pressure more evenly across the foot to protect it from injury.

Track and field

The shoe for track and field has always been changing since the market for it is kind of larger. Running is an exercise that many people do actually and better shoes can allow more comfort for runners when running and they will buy them for a more comfortable running session. Not only that, many sports actually have running as part of their physical regime. A proper pair of running shoes is therefore important so that athletes will be in a good condition to practice their skills after their running session. This year a new pair of track and field of shoe known as the zoom victory spike will be introduced and wore by American Bernard Lagat, the reigning 1,500m and 5,000m world champion.

Taekwondo

This is one cool shoe and it is the shoe designed for the sport Taekwondo. Usually in this sport athletes will not wear any shoes during the game. In step which is the part of the feet that Taekwondo athlete used to kick and score the points might sometimes get injured when it clashes with the opponent now will have protection since it is covered. Athletes can therefore kick with more ease. What happens when the athlete wear this new shoe will be that neoprene foot cover protects from impact. Five-toe, open-bottom design allows natural contact between and mat. This shoe is called TKV which is easy to remember since the sport in short abbreviation is called TKD.

Equestrian

Even footwear for sports such as equestrian or weighlifting, which have not changed much in the past few decades, were updated with new innovations.

For equestrian, the shoe is known as Ippeas which means rider, quite a cool name I thought actually. Athletes in the sport will feel good wearing it upon hearing the name.

The technology for the shoe includes rubber outsole pads which improve traction on stirrups. High-abrasion synthetic rubber on inner side of boot gives riders improved grip on the horse and saddle. Track and field-inspired screw-mount spurs reduce weight by doing away with strap-on spurs.

Gymnastics

Looking at this object, you may wonder that it is not exactly a shoe. But in actual fact, it is a vaulting shoe inspired by track and field spikes for controlled approach and landing.

Now gymnasts can jump high do their stunts with less worry of having too much too much impact on their feet. The way the shoe is designed makes it look more like a sander actually but making it more expose kinds allows more comfort for the athletes as gymnastic is considered as a bare foot traditional sport.

By the way, this shoe is called Pidima (leap).

Dressed to kill

At the coming Olympics this year, the focus will not only be on the athletes but also on the sportswear of them. Technology has been incorporated into sportswear to enhance the performance of the athletes and it is really interesting to know whether such technology can really help make the athletes perform better. In the race to be faster, higher and stronger, sportswear companies have developed lighter, tighter and cooler apparel. Clothing and footwear, after all is more than just skin deep. It could be the heart of the matter for an athlete needing that edge over his rivals. Every second, every point and every thread will count towards victory.
